This partner to the M-1036 RAX handpiece, the heavier duty Right- Angle handpiece accommodates tools with shanks up to 1/4" diameter. Popular for mold cavity work as well as larger engine cylinder porting. The right-angle head does not extend as with the M-1036 version. The head size is ~0.91" diameter x 2"long. Includes 1/8" and 1/4" diameter collets, and wrenches. Other sized diameter collets are available below. Please note: Quantities are limited on the 3.0mm and 6.0mm diameter collets.
For extended life, the beveled gears in the angle head should be regularly lubricated with a bearing grease.
Please Note: Part # RA31 the Small Gear used to be mounted with a spring pin.
The Manufacturer has since discontinued this spring pin and now recommends using a few drops of Loctite #603 retaining compound to hold the Gear in place.
Replacement parts listed below.
