ARTCO Poros Stones

ARTCO Poros Stones are composed of silicon carbide grain and are very similar to the ARTCO Silicon Carbide Stones with added porosity. These stones are designed for rapid breakdown and conform easily to the detailed surfaces. ARTCO Poros Stones are also non-loading making them great polishing soft metals such as aluminum or beryllium and tool steels alike. ARTCO Poros Stones are available in 120, 150, 180, 220, 320, 400, 500, and 600 grits.
ARTCO Poros Stones are designed for hand finishing with Stone Holders. ARTCO Poros Stones are non-loading so can be used with or without a lubricant such as our ARTCO Stoning Oil, Norton Stoning Oil, or Boride BORI-LUBE 10.
