The separation of the powerful drive motor from the tool provides flexibility and freedom of movement while still maintaining the power of a much larger unit. The operator holds only a light weight handpiece attached to a cable, thus greatly reducing fatigue during extended working periods. Hard to reach areas can be easily accessed with flexible shaft driven tools.
