Foredom® M.TXH-SXR Hang-Up Motor, 115V, with heavy duty square drive sheath assembly and SXR-1 Foot Control. This item does not include a handpiece or speed controller.
Please note that TX and TXH Motors are identical, however the TXH Series Motors are equipped with a heavier, S-10801TX Square Drive Sheath Assembly for large scale, more demanding jobs. Any of Foredom®'s four Square Drive Handpieces (sold separately) can be used with the square drive sheath assembly. M.TXH-SXR Motor and Foot Control are only available in 115V.
Foredom®'s C.SXR-1 foot operated speed control comes in a metal housing and the extra weight provides added stability and control. It features the same durable, solid state electronics as the C.TXR-1. The ergonomics allow precise and reliable speed control with your foot. The C.SXR-1 has special electronics that converts AC current from an electrical outlet to DC current- the type required by the motor. It also has a special plug that fits the motor’s shielded plug.
The M.TXH Motor is Foredom®'s most powerful flex shaft machine with 1/3 HP*. They have permanent magnet DC motors that feature the latest in flex shaft technology. These ball bearing models utilize advanced rare earth magnets (in place of the wound fields in our universal type Series SR motors) that deliver more torque at the low end and throughout the entire speed range of 500 to 15,000 RPM. No other flex shaft gives you greater control of the cutting tool, drill, or bur under any load.
