Super carbide burs, often referred to as "carbide", were originally designed for use in the dental office on hard tooth enamel in high-speed dental handpieces. The harder blades of these burs make them useful for working on materials that are too hard for tungsten vanadium steel burs.

Super carbide burs are made of high performance carbide steel. Using a special process that bonds the carbide head to the steel shank (unaffected by heat), these burs are constructed to assure exact concentricity. Busch burs are very durable and wear-resistant, even under unfavorable clearance conditions.

Round or ball burs are used by dentists, dental lab workers, jewelers, and hobbyists. These versatile burs are spherical in shape and are available in a wide range of diameters. Round burs can get into tight areas and can be used at any angle.

Round carbide burs are incredibly versatile and are excellent for applications in natural enamel, acrylic, or metals such as gold and silver. Round burs are used by dentists for excavating and are popular among jewelers for deburring, enlarging holes, and drilling, as well as for engraving or texturing jewelry. This bur shape is also useful for hobbyists and woodcarvers.

Available in two shank sizes: Friction Grip - 1/16" Ø Shank × 3/4" & Handpiece - 3/32" Ø Shank × 1-3/4".

    Priced per piece.
