ARTCO™ M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) Blanks, our standard grade HSS blanks are widely used for their effectiveness over general purpose HSS while maintaining cost effectiveness. Available in Solid, Single-End Split, and Double-End Split.
M2 HSS is widely-used with good wear resistance and red-hardness which holds its edge longer than other general purpose HSS. M2 blanks are a good balance of properties and cost effectiveness and are generally favored for high production machine work.
