Foredom® H.8D duplex spring handpiece is a slim collet type duplex spring handpiece that is widely used for fine detail work and has a chuck guard that slides back when changing burs. The H.8 handpiece comes with pre-lubricated ball bearings that require no additional lubrication. The H.8 handpiece also comes with 3/32″ and 1/8″ collets and chuck wrenches for changing collets and accessories, other fractional and metric collets are available in Collet Set HP600.
Please note that duplex springs are subject to breakage and are NOT covered by warranty. Foredom®'s duplex springs are made of special steel, double wound tubular construction with a protective flexible spring cover. Replacement springs (HP76) are available and can be installed by the user. We recommend that only experienced users of flex shaft tools consider purchasing this style handpiece. For most users, the “straight” H.8 handpiece is the preferable solution.
