Rifflers are particularly recommended for mold makers, engravers, carvers and goldsmiths carrying out any precision modelling work with steel, plastics or copper. A riffler is defined by:

• Its profile:  we offer a broad selection of different profiles in order to meet as many user requirements as possible.
• Its length: measured along the entire length of the tool, the length may be 6" (150 mm), 7" (180 mm) or 12" (300 mm) depending on the model.
• Its cut: this is indicated on a scale ranging from 0 to 4. Each of these cuts equates to a certain number of teeth per square centimeter.
