Arkansas Stones are a natural abrasive stone made of Novaculite, white to black in color often having a range of shades in a single stone. Hard Arkansas (ultra-fine 800-900 grit), with its very dense construction is recommended for stoning where the sharpest edges are required. Unsurpassed for honing and maintaining the extremely fine, super-smooth edges on precision tools and instruments.
