Foredom® MS10005 Motor & Handpiece Oiler, contains 0.25 oz. (7.7mL) of high grade machine oil in a hypodermic dispenser for lubrication of Foredom® Motors and Handpieces. The dispenser has a 1″ long needle with a rubber stopper cap for convenient dispensing.

Please note, the lubrication information included below is for reference only, always refer to your operation manual prior to lubrication of any equipment or tools.

 

Lubricating Motors: Current Foredom® motors (not the shaft and sheath but the motor itself) should NEVER be lubricated, however the following older models do require routine lubrication:

  1. Series CC, DD and MM sleeve bearing motors
  2. Series EE, GG, and MMG motors
  3. Series R and RB motors

Lubricating Handpieces:

  1. Duplex spring handpieces (H.8D, H.10D, H.15D, H.18D, H.20D, H.52D, H.55D and H.56D) all require lubrications in the duplex spring component.
  2. H.10 Quick Change handpiece requires lubrication after first 2-3 months of use
  3. H.15 Hammer handpiece requires periodic lubrication
  4. H.55A and H.56A Angle handpieces require periodic lubrication
