NSK E4000 High Speed Brushless Motor Spindle System
Features:
• Motor Speed 2,000 - 40,000rpm. Ideal for use on special purpose machine, NC lathes, robots, et5c. for small diameter end milling, drilling, slitting, chamfering, grinding, etc.
• Maximum Motor Power Output 1,200 Watts. This most powerful brushless DC motor from the Nakanishi company utilizes hall elements and a rare-earth magnet rotor.
• Smooth Rotation. Extremely low vibration brushless DC motor.
• Excellent Durability using air cooling system. A supply of clean, dry air (3.5cfm @ 50psi) cools the motor, preventing heat buildup and allowing for extended continuous operation. Achieved continuous run of over 5000 hours.
• Spindle Accuracy. Spindle accuracy is within 1 µm TIR.
• High Rigidity, Short Body. The E4000 spindle system utilizes a double pair of ultra-precision ceramic beatings to obtain high rigidity in both radial and thrust directions. The spindles incorporate two ceramic bearings on the front side and two additionally on the rear side.
• Power Source. The control unit operates at 200V.
• Protection System - External Input / Output Control Signals. A series of signals can be integrated into CNC controls for automated operation and maintenance including: Spindle Start/Stop, Fwd/Rev, Motor Speed Control, Load Monitoring, Torque Load Indicating, Spindle Stop Error, At Speed, RPM Monitoring, Torque Monitoring, and Rotating Signal.
• Safety Relay Option Available. The safety relay box mounts directly onto the NE236 control unit. Allows emergency stop signal from CNC to stop the E4000 spindle or conversely, the NE236 spindle control to stop the machine operation.
