NSK Nakanishi E3200 Series Electric Spindles
NSK E3200 High Speed Brushless Motor Spindle System features:
• Motor Speed 1,000 - 80,000rpm. The maximum motor speed 80,000 rpm is realized using a high performance brushless motor and ceramic bearings.
• Maximum Motor Power Output 350 Watts. This E Series motor is a brushless DC motor utilizing hall elements and a rare-earth magnet rotor.
• Smooth Rotation. The absence of a commutator and the use of a photo coupler sending a feedback signal at 48 pulses per revolution results in very smooth rotation with little if any vibration throughout the entire speed range.
• Excellent Durability using air cooling system. The low volume supply of clean, dry air (1.0cfm) cools the motor, preventing heat buildup and allowing for extended continuous operation.
• Spindle Accuracy. Spindle accuracy is within 1 µm TIR.
• High Rigidity, Short Body. The E3200 spindle system uses a short body that is hardened and precision ground for excellent durability.
• Power Source Auto Detection. The control unit operates at 100-240V for international compatability.
• Protection System - External Input / Output Control Signals. A series of signals can be integrated into CNC controls for automated operation and maintenance including: Spindle Start/Stop, Fwd/Rev, Motor Speed Control, Load Monitoring, Torque Load Indicating, Spindle Stop Error, Overload Condition Protection, and Air Supply Shortage.
• Special Safety Version Available. The OP1 spindle control option allows for motor stop should the any spindle system errors occur, trouble indicated from the machining center, or interruption of the connection between the E3200 series control unit and the machine control.
• Air Bearing Spindle. The air bearing type spindle uses an air pressure bearing that floats the spindle resulting in almost no vibration and extremely high accuracy for extremely high precision machining.
