0.4mm Thick Sonofile® High Speed Steel (HSS) Blades are very durable and uniquely designed for use with SF-8500RR, HP-653, SF-3140, and HP-660 Sonofile® Ultrasonic Cutter Systems.
Selecting the correct blade for your application is critical for optimizing cutting. Sonofile® offers a variety of shapes and sizes to ensure the right blade is used for each job. Sonofile® Blades are specially designed to be changed easily and safely, and excel at reproducible positioning of the blade for both automated and manual applications using Sonofile®'s patented blade-locking technology .
Sonofile® HSS Blades are a durable and cost effective option when compared to tungsten carbide blades. Common material applications include but are not limited to:
- Carbon Prepregs (CFRP / CFRTP)
- Thermoplastics / Composite Materials
- Films
- Cardboard
- Leather
- Sponge
