ARTCO C-2 Micrograin Carbide Blanks are a standard grade carbide. All carbide blanks are center-less ground to tolerance of +0.0000"/-0.0005". Available in Solid, Single-End Split, Double-End Split, and Entire Length Split.
Due to its excellent wear resistance and ability to withstand medium shock, C-2 Micrograin Carbide is recommended for all general purpose applications and is widely used for solid carbide rotary tools. C-2 Micrograin Carbide Blanks provide durability and work well in both low-speed machining and high-speed cutting applications. The heat-resistance of micrograin carbide material provides higher rigidity than HSS and makes these tool blanks especially suitable for high-speed applications on cast iron, nonferrous materials, plastics, and other difficult-to-machine materials.
