ARTCO C-10 Micrograin Carbide Blanks
This product can expose you to chemicals, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information on this product, please refer to the SDS file. For more information on Prop 65, please visit www.p65warnings.ca.gov.
ARTCO C-10 Micrograin Carbide Blanks represent the latest in premium grade carbide. All carbide blanks are center-less ground to tolerance of +0.0000"/-0.0005". Available in Solid, Single-End Split, and Double-End Split.
C-10 Micrograin Carbide has superior Transverse Rupture Strength (TRS) for exceptional versatility, shock resistance, edge retention, and superior longevity in interrupted cutting processes. The incredible durability of these blanks allows for machining of hard stainless steels and heat treated tool steels, saving money on annealing and material processing. Additionally the strength of these tools provides vastly increased speed and feed rate when cutting a wide variety of materials such as aluminum, composites, copper, high temperature alloys, stainless steels, and thermoplastics. ARTCO Micrograin Carbide Blanks yield cutters that stay sharper longer, are less apt to chip and break, and leave a better finish.
Micrograin Carbide contains sub-micron grain size which is combined with a high cobalt content using modern Hot Isostacic-Pressing (HIP) processing. See the Specifications tab for further information on material properties.
Please note: MC0830B will be discontinued when present stock is depleted.
