Glardon® rifflers are indispensable tools for filing surfaces that are difficult to access. Filed at both ends, they are ideal for machining parts with complex profiles and contours. Rifflers are particularly recommended for mold makers, engravers, carvers and goldsmiths carrying out any precision modelling work with steel, plastics or copper. Our Swiss made quality guarantees you high-performance tools which offer consistent, durable quality.
A riffler is defined by:
- Its profile: we offer a broad selection of different profiles in order to meet as many user requirements as possible.
- Its length: measured along the entire length of the tool, the length may be 6" (150 mm), 7" (180 mm) or 12" (300 mm) depending on the model.
- Its cut: this is indicated on a scale ranging from 0 to 4. Each of these cuts equates to a certain number of teeth per square centimeter.
Glardon® rifflers are also available in sets containing six different rifflers per case. For more information and details, please visit our sets and kits page. Get all the details on our rifflers in the catalogs available in the documents tab.
